Attorney Patrick Callahan was born in Salem, Massachusetts and raised in Danvers, Massachusetts. He graduated from Bishop Fenwick High School and from Tufts University. In 2003, he received his juris doctorate from Suffolk University School of Law. From 2003 to 2006, he was a prosecutor with the Essex County District Attorney’s Office, where he was an Assistant District Attorney assigned to the Lawrence, Lynn and Peabody District Courts. He would also cover court in Gloucester, Salem, Newburyport, Haverhill, and Ipswich District Courts, as well as all of the Juvenile Courts in Essex County. While working out of the Lawrence and Lynn District Courts, Attorney Callahan handled many prosecutions including drug distribution, operating under the influence of alcohol and drugs and gun crimes. Attorney Callahan was one of the first Assistant District Attorneys assigned to prosecute cases in the Essex County Firearms Session held in the Peabody District Court
Attorney Callahan has vast experience handling major felonies and misdemeanors throughout the state of Massachusetts on charges that vary from drunk driving and gun possession charges to domestic assault and battery and drug possession and distribution. Attorney Callahan also handles matters regarding your driver’s license and any suspensions that may have been issued by the RMV (Registry of Motor Vehicles), as well as matters that must go in front of the Board of Appeals.
